Baseball is Coming!!
Submitted By KMBA Executive on Wednesday, June 2, 2021
We can now say that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and we will soon be taking the field. We intend to do everything we can within the Provincial restrictions and Baseball Ontario protocols to get as much out of our baseball season as we possibly can. Here is a timeline of how we can expect to progress through the summer based on the lifting of restrictions:

Step 1 (Around June 14): We take the field limited to groups of 10. We plan on splitting into groups, and getting as much practice time as we do in a regular summer. (Extra coaching help will be needed)

Step 2 (Around July 5): Full team workouts begin (25 person gathering limit) We start getting ready for games as full teams, and depending on interpretation may start game play.

Step 3 (Around July 26) Gameplay begins within bubbled leagues for all ages   This is just a rough outline, and we must be prepared to pivot and adjust as necessary depending on changing restrictions.

Due to the abnormal season, we will be reducing playing fees for all ages to $100. (T-Ball will remain at $50) REP players may be asked to pay a little more (at a later date) depending on the number of games, and the possibility of provincial championships (Baseball Ontario has said there will be Provincial Champions this year)

In order to collect payment, Registration will Open on Monday May 31  until Monday June 7. Please Click the Link sent to you over email by our Registrar Anna McLaughlin to Complete Registration and payment.

Again, due to the smaller groups, we will require extra coaches to help run these small groups on the field. Please indicate on the registration form if you are able to help out.   Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to seeing you out on the field.
