18U Cards are OBA-C /2021 August Madness Champs
Submitted By Steve Travale on Sunday, August 29, 2021
Our Kincardine 18U OBA team went 12-0 to claim the provincial OBA title this year!

Baseball Ontario offered August Madness as a way of making ball meaningful for players and giving them a chance to play for something during an uncertain year. The championship format had the Cards away in Wallaceburg, Waterdown, Belle River and Essex for 3 weekends starting July 31st and ending Aug 29th at home. The team had a mindset of how they wanted to approach away games and they stayed the course going undefeated on the road. Ending the season with a 12-0 record at home was icing on the cake for this group. The core of the team won an OBA title in 2018 and with a few add ons this year who fit right in, it will go down as a very fun and memorable season.
