Umpires (Kincardine Minor Baseball)

*KMBA is always looking for new umpires and also those with experience.
Umpiring is a paid position as is Umpire in chief.
Please contact a KMBA rep for info on both.

How to become an Umpire in Kincardine

All you need are these qualifications:

  • A desire to earn extra money $$$$ (all umpires, at all levels, are paid)

  • You must be 12 years of age or older

  • Either male or female

  • You must be a certified (level one and up) umpire, or willing to attend a local instructional clinic to become certified

  • With a sufficient number of umpires, you can pick your schedule and ump the games and tournaments you want.

Umpire Clinics

KMBA will be hosting an umpire clinic in April 2020 at the Davidson Centre. Details to follow once confirmed. Participants can register via the Ontario Baseball Association website and selecting the Kincardine clinic, or others that are being held in various centers.

I Can't Handle the Pressure

Rookie ball players are 8 & 9 years old and all games require umpires. There is no pressure, just fun. When you feel more comfortable, you can move to the older age groups. Whether you're a new or seasoned umpire, you pick your level.

We would like to hear from you! If you are already a Level I, II or III umpire, and are interested in umpiring this coming season, please contact:
